Edit: Another use for this upgrade is to stop certain enemies from triggering their abilities.

A fully upgraded Wrath of the Forest is very effective against graveyards, since it will kill all Skeletons on easy and normal difficulty.

Use poison arrows to deal damage against armored units such as Marauders or Brigands.

The Piercing Shots upgrade is very effective when attacking lightly armored units.

Useful for taking out groups of small unarmored or lightly armored units, such as Orcs or Bandits.

11% wider than the Level 3 Sharpshooter Tower.

This is most likely because they are immune to physical damage. Wrath of the Forest does not affect Spectral Knights. This ability needs at least two enemies in range to trigger, and can only be used three times on any one enemy.
